 Lean Six Sigma Belts
The Yellow Belts are professionals who, as Lean experts, lead and maintain Lean Six Sigma implementation projects as part of
their regular job responsibilities.

The Green Belts are change agents trained in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies capable of implementing high-impact projects;
they dedicate 20% of their time to improvement projects.

The Black Belts are experts in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and dedicate a significant portion of their time to implementing
improvements in the company, leading projects, providing key training, and advising staff.

The Master Black Belts work closely with top management as leaders in the development and evolution of organizations. They
learn, with a set of managerial, basic, and project execution tools, how to ensure the sustainability over time of the philosophy
as a way of life and work. They are the main agents of change within the organization towards LSS.

Requirements
Yellow Belt Certification (Expert in Lean Tools): 80% attendance to sessions, pass exams with a score higher than 80 and
develop a Lean project with tangible improvements in a process of your choice and savings exceeding €10,000.

Certification in Green Belt (Expert in Six Sigma Tools): 80% attendance to sessions, pass exams with a score higher than 80,
and develop a Six Sigma Project with tangible improvements in a process of your choice and savings of over €50,000. It is not
necessary to have the Yellow Belt to take the green belt if you only want to obtain the certificate of knowledge. However, if
you want to obtain the internationally accredited certification by the Council for Six Sigma Certification, it is necessary to pass
the exams of the Yellow Belt and Green Belt levels, as well as submit a Six Sigma Project.

Certification Black Belt (Expert in Lean Six Sigma Project Development): 80% attendance to sessions, pass exams with a score
higher than 80, and develop a Six Sigma Project with tangible improvements in a process of your choice and savings of over
€100,000.

Master Black Belt Certification (Strategy, Management, and Innovation Tools): 80% attendance to sessions, pass exams with a
score higher than 80, and develop a Six Sigma Project with tangible improvements in a process of your choice and savings of
over €200,000.

If you have the knowledge and experience of any of the belts, you can take the knowledge exam to directly access the desired belt.
