Answer:
2. As a stakeholder what can you to address the issue of Environmental Responsibility, and
Sustainability?
What solutions can you propose?
Answer:
In the context of which the ideas of social responsibility are emphasized, sustainable
growth of society and business has become a beneficial approach of solving both social
problems and problems of preservation of the safe environment, which is vital for human
survival. Also, as a stakeholder in order to address the issue of Environment Responsibility and
Sustainability, I will promote environmental awareness among the people and the consumers
or customers including our company. Providing commercials that will prevent littering or
destruction of the environment and by putting on our products a warning or guideline shows
the preservation and sustainability of our environment like putting your trash on the
designated place/bin or a sign of “no littering”. Those simple solution or doings have huge and
positive effects on the environmental responsibility and sustainability.
The benefits of organic food Organic food has become a profitable industry in the past
decade. Consumers who purchase organic feel confident they are buying more natural food
without the health risks of genetically modified (GM) organisms. However, consumer
perceptions of organic food are not always accurate. For instance, the Food and Drug
Administration has not found organic food any healthier than non-organic. Additionally, many
consumers mistakenly assume organic food is completely pesticide-free. In reality, to be
certified organic, any pesticides used on the produce must be made from natural materials.
Many farmers use organic pesticides on their produce to protect from bugs and other pests. On
the other hand, consumers should not rule out the benefits of organic food. Supporters claim
that although GM food is not considered to have health risks, its relative newness makes it
questionable. Organic food is also more environmentally-friendly, and consumers might still
believe organic pesticides derived from natural sources are safer than synthetic pesticides.
Answer:
Answer:
The consumers should not misled about the benefits of organic food. The organic food has many
benefits as it is environmental friendly, free from pesticides, harmful chemicals, and it will
prevent the health risks among the children, pregnant woman, and to the other consumers.
Even some organic food are expensive than non-organic food because of the difficulties in the
production of some organic food, where the organic food needs to take care and it takes long
time before harvesting. Also organic food needs to be certified as organic food by the Food and
Drug Administration that’s why some organic food are more expensive than non-organic food
but the truth is organic food is healthier than organic food. As stated on the scenario that
organic food uses organic pesticides derived from natural sources are safer than synthetic
pesticides are also benefits included from the organic food. From that statement it means that
having free from pesticides or the usage of organic pesticides will prevent health risks.
