PURPOSE
To Manage and lead the entire supply chain management functions by executing centralized plans
for timely dispatch of finished goods and extend support to the Sales team with an objective to
achieve the targeted revenue for business.

way. Ensure and create best practices, policies and processes to streamline operational
performance and processes to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
in Supply Chain Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning, managing logistics, warehouse, transportation pertaining to Domestic Retail S&M

ensuring optimization of cost and logistics operations by establishing appropriate timeline.

Core Accountability of the Role

• Align SCM strategies with business strategies and market dynamics.

• Develop and streamline SCM processes.

• Demand planning.

• Define Business Continuity Plan, DRP, Risk Mitigation plan.

• Create matrix for SCM effectiveness.

• Overall SCM functional review.

• Effective and seamless collaboration with all stakeholders including retail sales
marketing and finance.

• Ensure implementation SCM excellence tools and approach (e.g. JIT, 5S, FIFO,
LIFO, Theory of Constraint).

• Optimization of Inventory Management system.

• Enable automation to facilitate digital transformation.

• Cost saving.

• Improved customer service.

• Identify project responsibilities and delegate.

• Data Analytics & Data driven decision making.

• Negotiate and finalize based on the rate and service while ensuring statutory
compliance (insurance, fitness, etc) – Comparative study for competitive pricing.

 Strategy:

• Support strategy execution for logistics and warehousing.

• Implement financial metrics and associated KPIs for supply-chain network and
vendors.
• Develop and implement transportation cost-savings programs for year-over-year
savings.
• Identify project responsibilities and delegate to appropriate associates for effective
implementation of the project.
• Maintain awareness of industry and global logistics trends that will benefit the
company in the marketplace.
• New ideas/ project activities/ redefining process for ease of operations and cost
effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
