The hotel is a licensed venue
for Civil Marriages and
Civil Partnerships. We can
accommodate ceremonies from
10 guests to 500 guests with the
choice of Suites. A choice of red
or ivory carpet creates an aisle
down the length of the chosen
suite with comfortable seating for
your guests and civil ceremony
music playing in the background
chosen by the happy couple. As the
license holder, the hotel provides a
licensed representative to organise
the guests on the day and to be
present during the service.
There is a room hire charge
direct with Hardwick Hall to hold
the civil ceremony at the Hotel.

COLEMAN SUITE
This suite can be split into three sections with partition walls consisting
of two entrances with two reception areas. Coleman Suite 1 and 3 come
with their own bars keeping both suites self-contained and private.
The Coleman Suite has six magnificent crystal chandeliers, tiered and
twinkling with tens of thousands of crystals that shimmer in the large
mirrors surrounding the room.
BOYNE SUITE
The original dining room of the hotel boasts an ornately oil-painted
ceiling and traditional yet stylish décor. The Boyne Suite is the perfect
venue for a more intimate wedding of up to 40 guests.
JOHN BURDON SUITE
The John Burdon Suite is completely self-contained; featuring
contemporary furnishings with hand-painted walls, accommodating its
own bar and split into two levels, creating a bird’s eye view of the happy
couple and can cater for up to 120 guests.
PADDOCK MARQUEE
The Marquee is available during May to September and situated within
its own private garden. Lined with champagne linen and dressed with
trellising, the marquee is ideal for a traditional summer garden wedding.
Please note that live music or bands are not permitted in the marquee.

Did you know, for those having spring or summer weddings there
is our beautiful Tuscan Alcove in the grounds available for Civil
Ceremonies. This stunning outside area overlooks the lake and can
seat up to 80 guests.

each stage of planning, to ensure you have the most memorable,

PREMIER ROOMS
Our Premier Bedrooms offer a boutique style with quality and
luxury. Lavish, individually designed spacious rooms all with
large baths, walk-in showers, luxury furnishings and huge ultra
comfortable beds.

We do not automatically book any accommodation for your wedding guests; we do ask that you inform
your guests they will need to contact our Reception Team to assist in booking their accommodation.

NOW
Call and speak with our wedding
coordinator who will arrange an
appointment for you to view the hotel
and its facilities. We hold wedding
open days and evenings on a regular
basis to showcase the Suites, our
recommended suppliers and our
Events Team.
NEXT
We can provisionally hold dates for two
weeks whilst you check with family,
friends and the registrars that the
date is suitable. To confirm your date
with us, we require a £750.00 non-
refundable deposit. We will then send
you a contract to sign, please return
the pink copy of the contract and keep
the white copy for your records.
THEN
We then require 25% of your
remaining balance five months
following your deposit payment. This
will be calculated in relation to your
contracted numbers given at the time
of booking.

SIX MONTHS PRIOR
Six months prior to your wedding day
you are required to pay 50% of your
remaining wedding balance. This
will be calculated in relation to your
provisional numbers given at the time
of booking and payments already made.
THREE MONTHS PRIOR
Your wedding coordinator will contact
you to arrange an appointment for you
to come in and go through the finer
details for your special day. This will
include menu choices, format of the
day and all the smaller details. After
this appointment we will send you a
function sheet to check over along
with the final invoice based on the
numbers and details discussed on the
appointment.
ONE MONTH PRIOR
We will require your final invoice
to be paid one month prior to your
wedding date. If you need to make
any amendments to your details or
numbers please contact the hotel prior
to the payment date, so an amended
