I. OBJECTIVES.
At the end of the 60 minutes discussion, the learners are expected to:
a. Compare light and heavy objects
b. show light and heavy objects
c. participate actively through answering activity
III. PROCEDURE.
A. Preliminary Activities.
a. Prayer
(The teacher will instruct to her learners to stand for the
prayer.)
b. Greetings
(The teacher will greet her learners good morning.)
c. Checking of Attendance
(The teacher will call the names of her learners to find out if
there are learner/s are not present or absent.)
d. Behavioral Check
Setting of rules:
a. Keep quiet
b. Listen carefully
c. Raise your right hand if you want to answer or if you
have some questions.
B. Review/Drill
Who can still remember our last topic in Math?
About comparing heights using tall, taller, tallest and high,
higher highest.

E. Discussion
I have here a Rock and a paper, which one do you think the
heavy and light weight object?
Now lets discuss each phases of heavy and light objects
Light it is a weight of an object are easy to lift
Lighter is a weight of an object are easy to lift than other we
compare only two objects
Lightest is a weight of an object are easy to lift we compare
three or more than objects.
Example: Book, Notebook, eraser.
Heavy it is a weight of an object that are difficult to lift
Heavier it is a weight of an object that are difficult to lift than
other
Heaviest it is a weight of an object that are difficult to lift
more than the others.
Example: Chair, Table, Cabinet
F. Activity
I will group you into three groups and I will give you the
worksheet and you answer the following questions, I will
give you a 5minutes. The group who will finish their work
will clap their hands.
G. Application
Come to front and I’ll give you the words that tells about the
weight of the objects in the picture. Just paste it where it
corresponds to
( Example the picture is dog the words is? You paste it)
H. Generalization
This morning we learn about?
What are the light, lighter and lightest?
Give me an example of light to lightest?
What about heavy, heavier and heaviest?
Give me an example of that?
IV. EVALUATION
Direction: Arrange the objects from heavy to heaviest . Write 1 for heavy, 2 for
heavier, 3 for heaviest.
