My career goal is to become a cyber security engineer within the next five years.

Cyber Security is a rapidly evolving field in today's digital age and is

characterised by several distinctive features which include its focus on risk
management, adaptation to evolving threats and an interdisciplinary field
knowledge. These attributes demanded by the field of cybersecurity are precisely
what drew me to pursue this career path. My educational foundation provides me with
a solid understanding of programming, networking, and system structures and i plan
to complement this with specialised courses or certifications in cybersecurity to
enhance my knowledge in data-encryption, pen-testing, and risk assessment.I firmly
believe that the practical application of theoretical knowledge in real-world
scenarios like internships and projects holds far more value than exhaustive
theoretical study across every topic of the field. To sum up, my goal is to
leverage my knowledge in cyber security.

Participating in the Samsung Innovation Campus program is commencement towards my

cybersecurity career, offering specialised training in AI and ML equipping me with
tools to strengthen my foundation, along with hands-on experience, and access to
industry resources. I particularly value this program for its massive networking
opportunities, connecting me with experts and peers embraced by an industry giant
company like Samsung, crucial for building relationships and staying updated in the
ever-evolving field.

My career has been driven by a keen interest in the principle of computing systems.
The aspects of computing and its security is fascinating, driving me to the
complexities and challenges to be faced. My decision to apply for the program
arises from the curiosity about how AI and ML can enhance computing practices and
the immense networking opportunities i may come across. The possibility of evolving
ML algorithms to predict, identify, and offset cyber threats in real time interests
me. This program supports an opportunity to dive deeper towards understanding the
importance of the principles of AI systems and their practical application. My
interest lies in extending knowledge by getting into the applications of AI and
machine learning and aiming to learn how these advanced technologies can create
dynamic systems. The program will allow me to experience both theory and practice
of AI, interact with experts, expand my skill set, and ultimately furthering
towards my career goals.
