RESOLUTION NO. 04 – 2023

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE APPROVAL OF THE SUPPLEMENTAL

BUDGET OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) AMOUNTING TO SEVENTY-
FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (P75,000.00) ONLY FROM ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT -
LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND PEACE –
BUILDING AND SECURITY TO TRAININGS AND SEMINARS EXPENSES

WHEREAS, R.A. No. 10742 otherwise known as the “SK Reform Act of 2015”,
recognizes the vital role of the youth in the nation-building, to promote and protect their
physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being, indicates them patriotism,
nationalism and other desirable value and encourages their involvement in public and civil
affairs;

WHEREAS, under the same Act, SK shall give priority to programs, projects and
activities that will enhance the skills and develop the youth towards promotion of community
growth and advancement;

WHEREAS, in response to the provision of the law, the Pambayang Pederasyon ng

Sangguniang Kabataan Malvar had initiated the conduct of the Municipality of Malvar SK
Congress 2023: Progressive Youth for Progressive Barangays;

WHEREAS, attendance to the training requires payment of necessary fees for food,
accommodation and kits;
CONTINUATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 04, SERIES OF 2023 APPROVED ON MAY 7,
2023 OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF POBLACION, MALVAR, BATANGAS

WHEREAS, the appropriated budget for Trainings and Seminars Expenses for the
Calendar Year 2023 of the Barangay Poblacion - Sangguniang Kabataan is insufficient to send
SK Chairperson, Hon. Lowell U. Motol, SK Councilor, Hon. Redentor S. Sangcap and SK
Treasurer, Mr. Oriel R. Ocharan, as attendees to the aforementioned seminar;

WHEREAS, such need to attend the said training led SK to an identified amount of
unutilized fund which may be used to support the payment of the necessary fees;

WHEREAS, upon the motion of SK Member Marielle Anne L. Endaya duly seconded
by the Sangguniang Kabataan Fund allocated to Livelihood Program (Economic Empowerment)
amounting to Seventy-Five Thousand Pesos (₽75,000.00) Only be available for realignment, as
follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to respectfully

request the approval of the proposal to supplement the appropriation amounting to Seventy-Five
Thousand Pesos (₽75,000.00) Only for the purpose as herein stipulated;
 RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution shall be furnished to the
Sangguniang Bayan of Malvar, Batangas, Municipal Budget Office, and all offices concerned for
their information and appropriate action.
