Job Summary :

As the Principal Data Architect at Estrel, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data
architecture and strategy for our innovative AI and Analytics solutions and services. You will
create and lead a talented team of Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Platform Engineers,
driving the development and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions and
services.

This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of data engineering,
administration, analytics, and platform engineering, who can contribute to the growth and
success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership :

- Define and drive the overall data architecture and strategy for the solutions.

- Collaborate with leadership to align with business objectives.

- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends and technologies.

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.

2. Team Management :

- Create, Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and
Platform Engineers.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and
development.

- Manage performance, set goals, and provide regular feedback to team members.

- Curate Accelerators and Support Deployments for end customers

3. Data Architecture :

- Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures to support AI and Analytics
solutions.

- Ensure data models and structures meet the requirements of various AI, analytics and machine
learning applications.

- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

4. Solution Architecture :

- Work closely with Solution Architects to design end-to-end solutions that align with business
goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into overall product architecture.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and performant.

5. Platform Engineering :

- Oversee the development and maintenance of data platforms to support analytics and machine
learning workflows.

- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

- Collaborate with Platform Engineers to optimize infrastructure and ensure high availability.

6. Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, Functional Consultant,

and data science.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Participate in client meetings and contribute to pre-sales activities as needed.

7. Project Delivery :

- Oversee the successful delivery of projects with the help of the team members ensuring high-
quality and timely delivery.

- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

- Minimum IT experience should be 10+ years and should have at least 5 years of experience in
data analytics space.

- Proven experience in Technical Delivery Leadership, Presales, Solution architecture or

consulting roles within the analytics domain.

- Strong understanding of technologies such as Data Ingestion & Quality (ETL/ELT), Data
Warehousing, Modelling, Data Lake(house) (preferably SAS DI/DQ, Informatica, Cloudera).

- Brief understanding of administration, BI tools, Data Visualization, AI-ML and their integration.

- Proficiency in AI and Analytics Platforms such as IBM CP4D and Watson, SAS Viya 3.5/4 and
similar services on Public Cloud platforms (preferably Azure, Google Cloud).

- Proficiency in DevOps (Preferably upstream Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift).

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value propositions and ROI calculations.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on implementing best practices, driving
customer success and revenue growth.
