3. Perform Initializing Test

After switching off/on, observe the following steps. If the antenna doesn’t move after
switching on, check the antenna power module.
Power On
1. Switch on the system followed by loud click sound from the system due to
motor break release.
Sensor box Initialize
2. Sensor box moves to the end limit point and reaches the end limit point.
Note
Listen for soft click sound when the level sensor box reaches the end limit point.

Sensor box

3. Sensor box moves back to the target satellite EL position.

EL Initialize
4. Move the antenna elevation to adjust the sensor box in the horizontal
position.

EL Initialize

Note
The antenna elevation is set as “target satellite EL position” while conducting the
step 3 to 4.

Skew Initialize
5. Rotate the Skew assembly to “target satellite POL angle position”.
Note
 The procedure of step 4 and 5 is conducted at the same time.
 If the skew assembly has already located at the target satellite pol angle
position, it doesn’t move.

6. Cross level bar moves back to the horizontal position.

Tri-Band Initialize
7. Tri-Band module starts to move to detect the home sensor.
8. Home sensor detects home flag (indicated by red LED inside the sensor)
and stops smoothly.
