ROW 1 (= right side): Knit until 7-7-8 stitches remain, slip next stitch as if to knit, knit 1, pass
slipped stitch over stitch knitted, turn piece.

Continue decrease like this with 1 stitch less before each decrease until there are 14-16-16
stitches on needle.
DECREASE TIP:
Begin 3 stitches before marker, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker is between these 2 stitches), slip 1
stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked (= 2 stitches decreased).
STRIPES:
Work as follows: 8 rounds with colour wheat, 3 rounds with colour cornflower blue.
Make sure to finish with 4 rounds in colour wheat before heel, and to begin with 4 rounds in
colour wheat after heel so that the stripes fit on top of foot.

LEG:
Cast on 64-68-72 stitches on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with DROPS Fabel and colour
wheat. Work rib (= knit 1 twisted/purl 1) for 5 cm. Switch to double pointed needles size 3 mm.
Then work in stocking stitch and STRIPES - read explanation above - begin with colour wheat.
Insert 1 marker at beginning of round. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
When piece measures 7 cm, decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker - read DECREASE TIP,
decrease every 2 cm 4 times in total= 56-60-64 stitches.
Work until piece measures approx. 15-16-17 cm - NOTE! Adjust so that 4 rounds with colour
wheat have been worked. Then work heel and foot as explained below (in colour wheat).
TOE:
Insert 1 marker in each side of sock so that there are 24-26-28 stitches both on top of foot and
under foot. Work in stocking stitch while AT THE SAME TIME on first round decrease for toes on
each side of both markers - read DECREASE TIP (= 4 stitches decreased). Decrease like this on
every other round 4-7-9 times in total, and then on every round 6-3-2 times in total = 8-12-12
stitches. On next round knit all stitches together 2 by 2 = 4-6-6 stitches.
Cut the yarn and pull yarn through stitches, tighten together and fasten.
The sock measures approx. 22-24-26 cm from marker on heel – measured under foot.
