Dear Sir/Madam

I hereby wish to apply for the Ministerial Internship as advertised by the Cape Conference
of SDA Churches (Advertisement No CC/HR/V/A/23/01).

I completed the Bachelor of Arts in Theology in December 2021 at Helderberg College of

Higher Education. Currently, I serve as an elder at the Eerste River SDA Church, and I am
also one of the two representatives of this church to serve on the Pastoral Liaison
Committee within the Northern Peninsula Two District.

Serving in the position as Co-ordinating elder for 2022 enabled me to grow and to develop
leadership skills such as organizing, planning, and decision making. I am committed to
continue spiritual growth and professional skills development, as the contemporary
zeitgeist makes this imperative to have an effective ministry. It is of profound and pivotal
importance for me not to stagnate and not to be overcome by self-complacency. It would
be such an honor for me to be a full-time worker for the Lord and His worldwide Church. I
sense the urgency in my heart to proclaim the Three Angels message and at the same time
to be instrumental to care, to train and to develop our membership within the Church
community.
