 Meaning of Patent
 The patent act 1970
 A patent is a legal document granted by a government, to an
inventor exclusive rights to their invention for a specified period,
usually 20 years from the filling date.
 This exclusivity allows the inventor to control the use, sales, or
reproduction of the patented invention.
 This protection prevents other from making, using, or selling the
patented invention without the inventor’s permission.

Qualifications for registration as patent agents

 He is a citizen of India;
