Principal’s Message
Dear Parent,
Greetings from Presidency School R T Nagar !
As I pen this School Year closure note, I must say that this year has been phenomenal. They say, 'there are
decades where nothing happens and there are weeks where decades happen', but this year- days, weeks and
months were not only happening but also has left behind benchmarks.
We are thrilled that all our pupils of all ages including the teachers were involved in a learning that simply
spelt matchless dynamism.
All through, we made it imperative that our children count their blessings and focus on the gains of the year
than the gaps. I am sure you will agree that it is important to remain grateful and humble, as we remember
how privileged and fortunate we are. The year has built massive reservoirs of endurance and resilience in us
all. Children have become more self-reliant, empathetic and have displayed a maturity that defies their
young years. I must say, our children have been heroes over the years as they grappled with uncertainties
and emerged stronger than ever before.
From making a mark on National and International Forums in Throw Ball to finishing as Runners Up at the
BTR Cricket Tournament , we made it 4th at the Nationals in Archery along with accolades in Football,
Quizzes, Debates, MUN, Dances as well as many other firsts. We now have our Volley ball and Hockey
Teams gearing up to make a mark. With 100 odd cadets of the NCC Air Wing making waves our School
indeed has celebrated the Festival of learning.
Not to forget we bid adieu to our graduating class of 157 Grade X students who are moving on to newer
avenues, exploring the options that the world has for them. Each of the graduates has assured to be the
Polaris in the lives that they touch, remaining steadfast, determined and undeterred.
Looking back on this year, I'm proud to note how far we have come as a family of Presidency Schools,
celebrating our strong academic history and building an education platform fit for the future. True to our
commitment we are preparing all Presidencians for tomorrow's world, empowering our young learners to
shape the world they want to live in!
We are delighted that teaching and learning with fun interspersed , are overwhelmingly seen as the things
we do best. The constructive feedback and parent connect have been much valued. I reiterate with pride that
we have cemented our parent partnership bond, made it stronger than ever before. The nature of
appreciative behaviour and responsiveness has deepened our relationship .This interplay of life and learning
is truly our fuel to excellence. We as holistic educators look to the future with optimism and courage and
pass on the wave of compassion and empathy to all around.
As a parting note, we will miss those families who are moving out of the City / State /Country. Equally we
say goodbye to members of staff who have moved on owing to personal obligations . Our very best wishes go
with them with sincere thanks for their engagement and efforts.
We look forward to the next academic year, and offer a warm welcome to all the new students and their
families.
Thank you for being on the journey this year as a part of our ever growing Presidency family, and I wish you
all the brightest of futures.

Our curriculum is designed in such a way that all learning happens involving the students from start to
finish. Activity-based, child-centered, integrated method is what we follow here. This method gives no
room for students to find classes boring. Everyday at school offers something new and interesting, this
helps the child to look forward to coming here. Learning is a lifelong process and doing and learning
has a long-lasting effect
Our morning assemblies are also theme-based. Every class gets a chance to put up as many students
so that they can exhibit their talents on this platform. It is the teachers’ responsibility to see that every
student gets a chance to perform. Some of the themes picked up for the second semester were –
“Bringing a Smile on the Face of the Underprivileged”, “Peaceful Living”, “Digital Industries”,
“Ecosystem”, “Food Industry”, “Health Industry”, “Waste Segregation”, “Biodegradable products”.
Just before closing for the Winter Break, Christmas was celebrated in school by all our children.
Children came dressed in white with a bright red Santa Hat and a smile on their face to celebrate
the occasion this year. Christmas is a season of peace, love, and joy! The school choir sang
beautiful Christmas carols. A pantomime depicting the nativity scene, the Angels Dance, and
finally the rollicking Santas rent the air with laughter through their dance. The whole school joined
together to wish each other the compliments of this wonderful season.
