Pray for Education

Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the
people’s representative before God and bring their disputes to him. 20Teach them his decrees and
instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave. 21But select
capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—
and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. 22Have them serve as
judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases
they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you.
23If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people
will go home satisfied.” Exodus 18: 19-23

Exodus 18:20

As Moses Led Israel to the promise land, he has wondered in the dessert along with these
complicated, complaining, stubborn and doubtful people. Along their journey they encountered
various challenges like lack of water, food and surrounding enemies. Yet God was faithful towards
them abundantly supplied their necessities, including victories over their enemies. Moses also
functioned as judge towards these people hearing their complains, answering questions specially
those seeking God’s will. When Moses visited his father in law Jethro in Midian, Jethro noticed that
Moses was exhausting himself dealing with their varied concerns. For this reason, he made some
suggestions to make Moses job easier found in Exodus 18: 19-23

1. Pray that our Department of Education leadership would be humble enough to listen to advice from Godly
Men and Women that would improve their leadership to be God glorifying.

2. Pray that our Department of Education will make lessons plans for teacher that facilitate biblical principles
that improves the life and behavior of every student.

Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave. Exodus
18:20

3. Pray that God will put rightful leaders in the Education Department that possesses noble characters such as
integrity and god-fearing.

But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and
appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Exodus 18: 21

4. Pray that God will endow his chosen rightful leaders in the Education Department with competence to fulfill
their responsibility excellently and god glorifying.

Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases
they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you. Exodus 18: 22
