Mitrovica

Hereby, I would like to express my interest for the psychosocial officer for northern Kosovo municipalities, for
the KRCT.

I am from Mitrovica and all of my life I have worked for the improvement of this region. My main reason why I’m
applying for this position is to be able to make a personal contribution through the local and international sector in
order to bring the best for my own and other communities in Kosovo.

I have managed projects in northern Kosovo in cooperation with international organizations and local NGOs for the
past two years. This involved organizing a series of trainings and workshops with vulnerable groups, namely
pupils and students, women’s groups and minorities in northern Kosovo.

I feel that my work is recognized by the communities in the north as having a positive impact toward development
of the region in general, and believe I have always been seen as a reliable coordinator by our partners.

I believe that my experience, the relationship of trust I have established with the communities in the north and my
motivation makes me the right candidate for this position.

If I got this job I would approach it by firstly having discussions and meetings, with the communities in northern
Kosovo to better identify their needs and promote KRCT by organizing different outreach activities.

I believe that listening to the people and try to help them to build the projects, develop the ideas and improve the
life standards is the right way of doing things.
