4. RAMP modification

This adjustment improves the ride comfort in the RAMP automatic mode.
At the same time, however, adjusted RAMP mode extends the stopping distance.

RAMP modification should be already performed in case you have followed the information contained in A.S.I.
If you haven´t performed the RAMP modification yet, please follow the procedure in this chapter.

Precautionary modification of RAMP on AVX machines

Dear Partner,

In order to improve functioning and safety of the machine, we consider it necessary to

perform a modification of parameters of continuous driving off and stopping of the
machine (RAMP mode) in Susmic of the travel. The current settings of software
parameters do not ensure the correct functioning in RAMP mode during specific
conditions. This modification has to be made on all machines on your stock and those
operated by your clients according to enclose excel list. If you meet any other machines,
which are not in your specific list but they are in following range of serial numbers, do it as
well.

AV120X T3 S/N 4112001- 4112036
AV130X T3 S/N 1- 4022070

The modification involves a change of parameters of the travel. It is described in the

attached manual and it does not require any special equipment, except access to the
software. Considering the fact that it is a safety element, this is mandatory requirement
and the labor will be reimbursed against a warranty protocol sent to the Warranty
department of Ammann Czech Republic a. s. in the amount of 40 EUR / machine.

Make the modification on the occasion of regular service interval, but no later than 31 July
2014.
