Introduction:
The Indian Institute of Technology Patna is an autonomous institute for education and research in
science, engineering, and technology located in Patna, India. It is recognized as an Institute of
National Importance by the Government of India. It is one of the IITs established by an Act of the
Indian Parliament on August 6, 2008.

Technology Innovation Hub or Vishlesan I-Hub Foundation IIT Patna

Vishlesan I-Hub at IIT Patna, part of TIH, focuses on AI and deep technologies based "Speech,
Video, and Text Analytics," driving technology development, innovation, education,
entrepreneurship, and commercialization. The TIH Operates in close association with Computer
Science and Engineering.

 1. Eligibility for Executive MTech

• An aspiring student should have a B.Tech / BE / MSc (Com Sc/IT) / MCA degree.

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
(or CPI).
• Relaxation:
a. In case of the candidate belonging to scheduled caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/
Persons with Disability (PwD) category, this is relaxed to 55% or equivalent
CGPA/ CPI.
b. Marks will be relaxed by 2.5% or 0.5 CGPA or CPI against each year of
experience.
• In case of MCA /MSC passed with UG, the percentage score of MCA/MSC would be
considered. In case of a BE/BTech Engineering degree passed without PG specialization,
the percentage score of the undergraduate degree would be considered. In case of an
engineering graduate degree pass out with a post-graduation in the Engineering field of
study, either of the UG or PG score qualification can be considered.

2. Eligibility for Executive MBA

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree (in any stream), with at least 50% marks or
equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidate belonging to scheduled caste (SC)/ Scheduled
Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PwD) category, this is relaxed to 45%)

3. Eligibility for 3-year UG Hybrid Programs

10 + 2 in Science Streams for BSc (Hons) CSDA and for BBA all streams are allowed with a minimum of
60% (cumulative) & any one of the following:
• Valid Score/Rank in National/State Level Entrance (i.e., JEE (Advanced/Main), NEET,
CUET, BITSAT, KVPY/NTSE/INSPIRE scholarship holders, State Entrance
Examinations) OR
• Valid score in International Entrance Test; US (SAT-I/SAT-II), UK(BMAT) OR
• IITP-SAT entrance test followed by virtual interview*
