Question Tag คือ รูปประโยคที่มีประโยคคําถามสั้นๆ อยูทายประโยคบอกเลาหรือทายประโยคปฏิเสธ

1. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนบอกเลา Question Tag ตองเปนปฏิเสธ

ผูพูดหวังไดรับคําตอบ Yes.
2. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนปฎิเสธ Question Tag ตองเปนบอกเลา
ผูพูดหวังไดรับคําตอบวา No.
3. การเขียนประโยคตองใส Comma คั่นระหวางประโยคหลักกับ Tag เสมอ
4. Question Tag ตองเปนกริยาชวยเสมอ
5. หากไมมีกริยาชวยในประโยคหลัก ตองใช do, does, did มาชวย
6. กริยาชวยใน Question Tag ตองใชรูปยอเสมอ ไมมีรูป amn't I ตองใช aren't I แทน
7. กริยาชวย ตองเปลี่ยนตาม Tense ที่ประโยคหลัก
8. ประโยคคําสั่ง ขอรอง เชื้อเชิญ Question Tag ตองใช will you ?

1. เมื่อประโยคหนาขึ้นตนดวย That is, This is สวน Question Tag ใช isn't it? หรือ is it
2. เมื่อประโยคหนาขึ้นตนดวย There is/ are/ was/ were สวน Question Tag ตองใช V. to be
ตามประธานและ Tense + there
3. เมื่อประโยคหนาขึ้นตนดวย These/ Those are สวน Question Tag ใช aren't they หรือ are
they แลวแตกรณี
4. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนประโยคความซอน สวน Question Tag ตองใชกริยาในประโยคหลัก
5. เมื่อประโยคหนามีคําที่ใหความหมายเชิงปฏิเสธ สวน Question Tag นั้น ตองเปนบอกเลา เชน
Nothing is interesting, is it?
6. มีคําที่กําหนดวาเปนปฏิเสธ คือ No, not, none, neither, nobody, nothing, few, little,
hardly, seldom, scarcely, rarely
7. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน Present Simple ( V1), Question Tag ตองใช do, does +?

 8. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน Past Simple (V2), Question Tag ตองใช did +?
Ex. He ate this cake, didn't he?
9. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน is, are, Question Tag ตองใช isn't / aren't +?
Ex. She is a good girl, isn't she?
10. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน am, Question Tag ตองใช aren't I +?
Ex. I'm late, aren't I?
11. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน has, have + V3, ใช hasn't / haven’t? (has / Have เปนกริยาแท )
Ex. She has turned on the light, hasn't she?
12. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน let's+ V1, Question Tag ตองใช shall we?
Ex. Let's go shopping, shall we?
13. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน Let + object + V1, Question Tag ตองใช will you / won't you?
Ex. Let me go out, will you/ won't you?
14. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน there is / there are, Question Tag ตองใช isn't there /aren't there?
Ex. There is a ship, isn't there?
15. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนThis is / That is, Question Tag ตองใช isn't it?
Ex. This is a Thai girl, isn't it?
16. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน These are / those are, Question Tag ตองใช aren't they?
ตัวอยาง These are books, aren't they ?
17. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน Everybody, everyone, someone, somebody, Question Tag
ตองใช they?
Ex. Somebody borrowed your pen, didn't they?
18. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน everything, something, Question Tag ตองใช isn't it?

19. เมื่อเปนประโยคอุทาน (What a ............, Question Tag ดูที่ประธานของประโยค
Ex. What a lovely day, isn't it?
20. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปน Don't + V1....., Question Tag ตองใช will you?

1. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนประโยคคําสั่ง, ขออนุญาต, Question Tag ตองใชwill you หรือwon't you?
2. ประโยค คําสั่ง (มักขึ้นตนดวย V1)
Ex. Read this book, will you?
3. ประโยคขออนุญาต ตองใช (Let +object + V1)
Ex. Let me see it, will you?
4. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนประโยคชักชวน ( Let's + V1), Question Tag ตองใช shall we?
Ex. Let's go eating, shall we?
5. need, dare เมื่อเปนกริยาแท ใช verb to do มาชวยใน Question Tag
Ex. She dared to speak Japanese, didn't she?

มีหลักนิด ๆ จะคิดไดคลอง
1. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนประโยคบอกเลา ตองใช Question Tag เปนรูปปฏิเสธ
You eat a lot of ice cream, don't you?
You will have the exam next month, won't you?
She came here yesterday, didn't she?
They have finished their work, haven't they?

2. เมื่อประโยคหนาเปนประโยคปฏิเสธ ตองใช Question Tag เปนรูปบอกเลา เชน

You won't come early, will you?
She doesn't want to disturb you, does she?
We didn't make a loud noise, did we?
They haven't turned it off, have they?

3. เมื่อประโยคขางหนามี verb to have ดูตัวอยางขอ a, b, และ c

a. เมื่อ have แปลวา มี ตองใช Question Tag วา haven't หรือ don't ก็ได
She has a lot of friends, hasn't she? (แบบ British)
They have only one child, don't they? (แบบ American)

 b. เมื่อ have แปลอยางอื่น ที่ไมใชแปลวา มี ตองใช verb to do
We have lunch at twelve o'clock, don’t we?
I had his letter last week, didn't I?
You had a toothache last week, didn't you?
c. Question Tag ของ have to (จําเปนตอง) ตองใช verb to do เชน
You often have to go to the dentist's, don't you?

4. ในประโยค Question Tag ที่เปนรูปปฏิเสธ ตองใช รูปยอเสมอ

We shall go shopping, shan't we?
He will come to my party, won't he?

5. Question tag ของ I am คือ aren't I (เนื่องจาก am not ไมมีรูปยอ)

I am late, aren't I ?
I am lazy, aren't I?

6. Question tag ของกริยาชวย can, could, may, might, will, shall, ought to, should ,V. be ,
etc....จะใชกริยาชวยเหลานี้เปน question tag ได
She can do it well, can't she?
You ought to study hard, oughtn't you?
They should obey their teacher, shouldn't they?

7. คําวา need (ตองการ) และ dare (กลา) มีวิธีใช 2 แบบ คือ

a. ใชเปนกริยาแท Question Tag ตองใช verb to do
He needs to go there alone, doesn't he?
They need money, don't they?
She does not need any help, does she?
She dares to come alone, doesn't she?
We don't dare to tell a lie, do we?
*** ตองจําไววา ถา need / dare ตองใชเปนกริยาแท จะตามหลังดวย to +V1 โดยที่กริยา need / dare
สามารถผันตามประธานได หรืออาจตามดวย noun ก็ได

 b. ใชเปนกริยาชวย Question Tag ตองใช need / dare เปนกริยาชวยใน Question Tag
She needn't come on Sunday, need she?
You dare not go out alone at night, dare you?
*** ถา need / dare เปนกริยาชวย จะตามหลังดวย V1 เลย
8. Question Tag ของ used to (เคย) คือ didn't หรือ usedn't
She used to be his secretary, didn't she (usedn't she)?
9. ประธานที่ใชใน Question Tag ตองเปน pronoun เสมอ
Suda went to Chiang Mai yesterday, didn't she?
The children are playing in the garden, aren't they?
The police are searching for a thief, are they?
10. Question Tag ของ would rather (อยากจะ) ตองใช wouldn't
You'd rather stay at home, wouldn't you?
We would rather not go there, would we?
11. Question Tag ของ had better ตองใช hadn't
You 'd better finish your homework, hadn't you?
She had better not go out alone, had she?
12. เมื่อประโยคขางหนาเปนประโยคคําสั่ง หรือ ขอรอง (Imperative, order, request) จะกลายเปน
ประโยคสุภาพ ดวยการเติม Question Tag วา will you หรือ won't you?
Open your book, will you?
Stop talking, will you?
Take these things away, will you?
Let us go to the movies, will you?
Let me ask him to accompany you, shall I?
13. เมื่อประโยคขางหนามีประธานเปน There is, There are, There was, There were,(มี) Question
Tag ตองใช verb to be นั้นๆ + there
There is a purse in my bag , isn't there?
There are many flowers in the garden, are there?
There was an accident last night, wasn't there?
