 Good farming practices such as crop rotation, agro-forestry, mixed farming etc., should be adopted to
control the extension of desert

 Controlled grazing by herdsmen and also seek for alternative food source for their animals
 Legislation to control the indiscriminate falling of trees should be enforced in the country so that
perpetrator would be punished
