The Department for Community Development and Religion (DFCDR) plays a significant role in the development of human resources in Papua New Guinea, particularly in the communities. Its responsibilities and expected outcomes are outlined
in the PNG constitution and current legislation administered by the department and associated offices within the Ministry.
Applications are open to highly qualified professionals at the district/province/council levels with skills in social work, public administration, human resources, business, policy, planning, monitoring, evaluation & research. Those with a background
in special needs or sign language interpretation are encouraged to apply.
