Notification

Following directions are issued in respect of conduct of exams in courses: EST130 – BASICS OF
ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING and EST120 – BASICS OF CIVIL AND MECHANICAL
ENGINEERING of B.Tech S1 & S2 (2019 Scheme)

1. Regarding EST130, Basic Electrical Engineering will be treated as Part 1 and Basic Electronics
Engineering will be treated as Part 2. Similarly regarding EST120, Basic Civil Engineering will be
treated as Part 1 and Basic Mechanical Engineering will be treated as Part 2.
2. Question numbers in Part 2 will be continuation to Question numbers in Part 1. Students should
follow the same numbering scheme.
3. Students should write answers of both Part 1 and Part 2 in a single answer book.
4. Students should write answers to Questions of Part 1 between the pages 1 and 15 and answers to
Questions of Part 2 between pages 16 and 30 of the answer booklet. No additional answer books /
sheets will be provided.
5. Answers to the questions of Part 1 written between pages 16 and 30 (incl. 16 and 30) and answers
to the questions of Part 2 written between pages 1 and 15 (incl. 1 and 15) will NOT be evaluated
under any circumstances.

For all the matters related to absence, malpractice, issued barcodes, packing of answer books by
Colleges, request for revaluation, answer book copy etc. both part 1 and part 2 will be treated together as
a single course
