Instructions

This is an easy pattern to make! Sew one stripset at a time by color. The process is the same for all stripsets. Sew the
strips together from the darkest color to the lightest color, then sew the black strip to the lightest color. Press your seam
allowance to the darker fabric all along the way. Subcut each stripset into 6 1/2” sections. You may wish to square up
each block to 6 1/2” square before proceeding.

6 1/2” 6 1/2” 6 1/2” 6 1/2” 6 1/2” 6 1/2” 6 1/2”

Repeat the process until you have the following number of stripsets prepared.

Need 30 Need 34 Need 44 Need 15 Need 21

Refer to the large picture on the next page. Lay out the blocks, rotating as necessary to create your rows. Label the
rows as you create them, pinning a piece of paper with the row number. Pin them to a design wall, if you have one. The
first two rows are shown below.

Row 1

Row 2

Sew the rows together in order. Press your seams open as you go. When all 12 rows are sewn together, sew a black
border to the top and bottom of the quilt top and trim off the excess. Press the seam allowance to the border. Then re-
peat the process by sewing a black border to the left and right sides of the quilt. Press in the same manner.

Quilt as desired, add a hanging sleeve, bind and label! Enjoy!
