ASSESSMENT CHANGES for 2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

Due to the ministerial request to extend the 2021 registration dates, Unisa had to amend both
the semester dates and the assessment arrangements for the 2021 academic year.
During 2021 we will have only one semester and only one tuition and assessment period.
The purpose of this TL001 is to inform you of the new assessment requirements for module
GGH2603 for students registered during 2021 for the one semester period.

impact of Covid-19 pandemic.
Because this is an online module, the assignments are not provided in this tutorial letter.
Instead, the assignments are provided online as they become due. You will see them when you
go online.
Please note: For the Online Timed Examination-based MCQ examinations you will require the
following:

 It is an open book examination.

 A pocket calculator or the calculator on your cell phone.

“Online Assessment” in myUNISA.

1.4 The examination
The examination as mentioned in Section 1.1 is a timed MCQ examination. Further details with
regards to the examination will be posted in due course. Please monitor the announcements
and emails carefully.
