ii. Nature and details of the The Company has received an Order from the Office of the
action(s) taken, initiated or Commercial Tax, Panaji Ward for payment of Green Cess on
order(s) passed Purchase of Coal, Oil, Lubricants, Petroleum Products etc. in
accordance with Goa Cess on products and Substances
causing Pollution (Green Cess) Act, 2013 confirming penalty
of ₹ 1,02,000 pertaining to FY 2020-21.

the applicability of this levy has remained in dispute resulting
in several Writ Petitions being filed in High Court by many
Companies. The matter is now pending in the Supreme Court
for the final decision.

The Company is in the process of evaluating the next course
of action to be adopted in this matter. The Company does not
expect the said Order to have any material financial impact.
