Swami Tadatmananda, was able to conduct an experiment about the Kundalini energy and according to
his experiment, this Kundalini energy could be further elaborated using Upanishad, under two main
themes namely, Yoga Upanishads and Vedanta Upanishads.

According to Swami Tadatmananda, Kundalini energy is coiled at the base of the spine can be awoken by
many meditation techniques but distorted by experience seeking. Further to that he has discussed about
the origin of this practiced and some development achieved by western yogis and the alteration made
to original methods of awakening.

Describing Ajna chakra he was able to revel the continuous increasing pattern of lotus petals in each
chakra and how the pattern disturbed when it comes to Ajna chakra Figure 1.
