1 GENERAL
The scope of work to be performed by the Contractor “ ALTHAAER ALARABI CO.” is for Power Transmission
Line to Siba Remote Areas, which mainly includes but not limits to the following works:
To supply power to various remote sites in Siba gas field, KEIL intends to construct the permanent power
transmission network to reduce the operation and maintenance expenditures. In the field there are multiple
locations that fed power through temporary and solar power sources to the various remote facilities. This
project is intended to supply permanent MV/ LV power supply to the below locations from single power
source and the existing power sources shall be used as backup.
• Siba1
• Siba4
• Hub 1
• BOC Camp
• Raw Water Intake Station (RWI)
• BOC Main Check Point

2 DEFINITIONS

SUB-CONTRACTOR: Tareq Al-Qudra Company.
Project: EPC Power Transmission Line to Siba Remote Areas.

4 FIRE DETECTOR WIRING

Figure 1 shows the recommended wiring connections for a single detector.
Figure 2 shows single detector wired in a variety of typical configurations.
Figure 3 shows the wiring connections for daisy chained detectors.

7 FIELD DEVICE TERMINATION TO FIRE CONTROL PANEL

7.1 TERMINATING THE DETECTION AND ALARM (SOUNDER) CIRCUITS

All cables entering the enclosure should use cable glands. The Detector and Sounder circuits should be
connected to the appropriate connector block on the Termination PCB as shown in below. All screens
should be fed through the gland to make electrical contact with it, and be terminated at the brass earthing
strip as shown below
