Subject: Anatomy –I
Course Objectives:
 The main objective of this course is an in-depth study and analysis of the regional and
systemic organization of the body. Complete surface anatomy of upper limb should be
cleared to all students according to concepts.
 The basic principles of general anatomy should be described to every student.
 Muscles attachement origin and insertion should be cleared to all students.
 The landmarks and description of all upper limb bones like (Humerus, Radius, Ulna,
Scapula, and Clavicle) should be learned to all students.
 Identification of structures with the study of charts, models, and presentation should be
utilized to identify anatomical landmarks and configurations of the Upper limb and
Thorax.
 Nerves, Lymph nodes and vascular supply of upper limb and thorax should be cleared to
every student.
 The students should be able to identify the key concepts of the structure and functions of
human anatomy.
 Nerves injuries and deformities related to upper limb and thorax should be learned to
every student.

Learning Outcomes:
 Upon successful completion, students will have the knowledge and skills about surface
anatomy of upper limb and thorax.
 The students would be able to identify and describe the major structures of Upper limb
and thorax.
 The students will discuss the structural organization and functions of each system of the
human body.
 Every student would be able to identify the surface landmarks of all upper limb bones
(Humerus, Radius, Ulna, Scapula, and Clavicle).
 All Students will apply their knowledge and skills of human anatomy to solve questions
regarding function and disease of upper limb and thorax.
 Every student will be analyze and synthesis their knowledge and skills to create effective
anatomy teaching and learning tools.
 Every student would be able to share his/her concepts to all class.

Rules and Regulations

1. Every student enrolled in this is expected to attend all lectures. For this purpose, university
regulations governing attendance will been forced. Only official excuses submitted within one
week of the occurrence of absence acceptable.
2. Homework assignments are listed in the table below and will NOT be collected. Solutions will
be posted, Quizzes on the same material of the homework assignment will be given one week
after the posting of the HW solution. The date of the class quizzes will be announced in the class
as well as on the notice board at least a week prior to the quiz date.
3. All quizzes are counted towards your final grade. NO MAKEUP QUIZZES WILL BE GIVEN
FOR ANY Person. If you have an OFFICIAL excuse for missing a quiz, your quiz grade will be
based on your FINALs EXAM result.
4. Cheating in quizzes, exams, or the final exam will resulting the grade of Fin the course.
5. Major Examinations will be coordinated with the other sections.
