When performing any repair on a vehicle, the direct or indirect impact to any ADAS system or sensors must be considered. The Insurance
Industry Requirements for the Safe Repair of ADAS Equipped Vehicles (IIR) and associated guidance can be located at
https://www.thatcham.org/insurance-industry-requirements/.

The ADAS alert within escribe can provide guidance as to whether ADAS may be fitted to a specific vehicle and will guide you to
appropriate Vehicle Manufacturer methods. However, it remains the responsibility of the repairer to identify if ADAS is fitted and perform
an appropriate repair and calibration if necessary.

As a general guide, and unless otherwise specifically detailed in a vehicle manufacturer method, repairs of bumper covers or other plastic
panels when those repairs are within the field of operation of RADAR sensors should not be performed.

Any repair will directly affect the performance and safety of the associated ADAS system. You should consult specific vehicle
manufacturer guidance for details of RADAR zones.
