M. Sc. / B. S. (Four Years) degree in the relevant disciplines of Chemistry / ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR Ph. D.
Chemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Applied Chemistry / Biotechnology / M. Phil., M. Pharm. / or equivalent qualification in the
B. Pharm. / Pharm. D. or equivalent qualification with atleast second fields of Chemistry / Biochemistry / Applied
division from an HEC recognized university / institution. However, candidates Chemistry and Biotechnology from an H.E.C.

Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD) is pleased to announce admissions in M. Phil.
and Ph. D. program-2024 in Molecular Medicine (Molecular and Cellular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Molecular
Pharmacology, Neuro-Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Biopharmaceutics, Computational Drug Discovery, Structural
Biology, Stem Cell Research, and Molecular Pathology).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M. PHIL.
M. Sc. or four years B.S. degree in the disciplines of Biochemistry / Genetics /
Microbiology / Biotechnology / Medical Technology / Biomedical Engineering /
Physiology, or equivalent professional degrees such as M.B.B.S. / B. S. / B. Pharm. and
Pharm. D. or equivalent qualification with atleast second division from an HEC
recognized university / institution. However, candidates with M.B.B.S., B.D.S., D.V.M.
or equivalent will be required to successfully complete 15-Credit Hours Courses (300-
600 Level) before undertaking 24-Credit Hour M. Phil. Courses (700 Level).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR Ph. D.
M. Phil., M. Pharm., or equivalent qualification in the
fields of Biochemistry / Genetics / Microbiology /
Biotechnology / Medical Technology / Biomedical
Engineering / Physiology from an H.E.C. recognized
university/institution.

I. Admission prospectus and KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST FORM can be downloaded from the websites (www.uok.edu.pk /
http://iccs.edu/page-academics) and a complete application form along with required documents & processing fee of Rs. 7,500/-
should be submitted in the Academic Coordination Office (Room No. WO-2) from Monday 24th June 2024 to Friday 5th July 2024.
Incomplete and late applications will not be entertained.
II. List of eligible candidates for KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST will be displayed on website (www.uok.edu.pk /
http://iccs.edu/page-academics) on Sunday 18th July 2024.
III. Eligible candidates for KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST will be required to collect Admit Cards during Thursday 18th July 2024
to Monday 22nd July 2024 from the Academic Coordination Office (Room No. WO-2).
IV. The Karachi University Entrance Test will be held on SUNDAY 28TH JULY 2024 and all the eligible candidates will have to report at
09:30 a.m. along with Admit Card and Original CNIC. For further information/details and venue of entrance test, please visit our

V. List of candidates who passed KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST will be announced on website on Sunday 4th August 2024.
