Course Description: This course deals with the different electrical and electronics circuits and devices such
as resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes and ICs. It also deals with the different electronic circuits such as series, parallel
and compound circuits. Moreover, it also deals with the measuring and checking the functionality of the different electronics
devices. It also deals with the simple assembly of simple electronics gadgets like multi-tester, AC-DC Converter and AM-FM
radio.

After graduation, the graduates should have:
1. articulated and discussed the latest developments in the specific field of practice (PQF level 6 descriptors);

After graduation, the graduates of the program should have:

6. familiarized self with the different concepts of OHM’s Law and POWER Law;
7. satisfactorily explained in own self the principles and concepts of power supplies and transformers;
8. explained satisfactorily the function of a filter capacitor in a power supply;
9. satisfactorily differentiated the different types of fundamental rectifier systems such as half-wave, full wave and bridge types;
10. interpret technical drawings and plans with 95% accuracy.
