Dear Sir/Ma’am:
I am writing to express my interest in serving as an English teacher at your esteemed institution. I recently
obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English, on May 31, 2024, from Marian
College, Incorporated. I have gained valuable teaching experience in both private (Marian College, Inc.) and
public institutions (Ipil National High School), consistently demonstrating outstanding performance with a
general weighted average of 1.0 (99-100%) during my internship. Additionally, I taught online as an ESL
(English as a Second Language) teacher part-time while awaiting graduation. However, I have since ceased
this role to pursue a full-time career in education. My diverse teaching experiences have equipped me to
effectively address the needs of various learners, enhancing my ability to cater to a diverse student body. I
possess a respectful and pleasant personality, and I am adaptable and versatile as an educator. My teaching
strategies are creative and unique, ensuring that students enjoy their learning experience. I am proficient in
utilizing various technologies in my teaching methodologies and excel in time and classroom management.
Given my comprehensive training in college, I am confident in my readiness to undertake the responsibilities
of a teacher.
As a Matson-Product, I am particularly interested in working with my alma mater because I am aware of the
high-quality education it provides. I believe that SMJSI can offer me opportunities for professional
development. I am eager to participate in any workshops or lectures you may require upon my hiring.
My key strengths that support my candidacy include:
Successfully passing the Civil Service Examination (Professional level) in August 2023 during my
third year of college.
Consistently achieving Dean’s List honors at Marian College, Inc. and could have been Cum Laude
if only shifting of courses and majors are allowed to get Latin honors.
Active membership in the Marianist Club.
Serving as Vice President of the Peer Facilitator Club.
Managing Editor of "The Crown" (Marian's Campus Journalism Publication).
Demonstrating versatility and a continuous pursuit of excellence.
I hope to have the opportunity to commence my teaching career at your prestigious school.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to your positive response.
Sincerely,
Arianne H. Bernaldez
