A Semi Detailed Lesson Plan

Uppercase and Lowercase Nn
I. Objectives

By the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:

a. Recognize the letter sound and name of letter Nn
(Lower and Uppercase);
b. Identify and recall the sound and name of alphabet letter Nn;
c. Cooperate in the activity.

II. Subject Matter:

A. Topic: Uppercase and Lowercase Nn

B. Materials:
 Low Tech: Instructional materials and Flash Cards
 High Tech: Laptop, Power Point Presentation and
Video.

C. Values: Obedience, Cooperation and Appreciation

III. Procedure

A. Preparation
The teacher will begin the class by greeting the students,
leading the prayer, National Anthem, energizer and checking
of attendance.
B. Motivation
The teacher will play a video about the letter Nn, the class
will listen and observe carefully. After the short video
presentation, the teacher will present pictures of the things
mentioned in the video.
C. Lesson Proper
 The teacher will start the lesson by showing a flash
card of letter Nn (Upper and Lowercase).
 The teacher will also flash the lesson using
PowerPoint Presentation to show other objects or
things that start with the topic letter.
 The teacher will play a video about the letter sound
and start to teach the letter sound.
 The teacher will name the beginning letter of each
word.
D. Activity
The students will identify the picture that flash on the power
point and let them identify the beginning letter sound and
name of the given pictures. (Orally)

E. Generalization
 Students can identify letter name and sounds of the
letter Nn.
 Students can recognize the beginning letter of the
words.
 F. Evaluation
The teacher will give worksheet.

PRE-K ACTIVITIES

Activity 1:
Objectives: Identify uppercase/lowercase.
A. Direction: Say the name and sound of the letter. Tell what is
in the picture and color it afterwards.
B.Directions: Trace the letter. Then circle the letters that you traced
below.
Activity 2:
Objectives: Recognize the lowercase n.
Directions: Trace the letter. Then color the letter that you traced below.

 Review Past Lesson
 Topic: Writing letter Nn.
(Teacher will present a video about how to write the letter Nn. Teacher
will also demonstrate how to write it on the board.)
Activity 1: Boardwork
Teacher will call each name and let them try to write the
uppercase and lowercase Nn using the pen (with the guidance of the
teacher).

Activity 2:
A.Trace and write letter Nn.
B. Trace the word that begins with letter Nn.Color the picture.

word. Paste each picture to the correct box.
