A- Use your browser and search for:

1- 3 common operating systems other than Windows (3 points).

a. MacOS

c. Ios

2- Briefly describe what the following MS office applications are used for: (7 points)

a. Word: is a processing software for writing and creating documents.

b. Excel: is a spreadsheet that we can collect, calculate, store, analyze and

visualize data for preparing reports

c. PowerPoint: is a slide software that we use it for presentation.

d. Outlook: this software is used for sending and receiving emails and also creating

calendar.

e. OneNote: this application gathers users' notes, drawings, screen clippings, and

audio commentaries.

f. Publisher: this is a little like WORD but it emphasis is placed on page layout and

graphic design rather than writing text.

g. Access: this software is a spreadsheet like EXCEL. But it is a database

management system.

3- List the steps to rearrange taskbar buttons to appear on the right, left, top or bottom

of your screen using the settings menu (3 points).
