LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By end of the lesson, most of the pupils will be able to:
1. Explain with examples the types of microorganisms.
2. Make generalisation on the meaning of microorganisms.
LEARNING OUTLINE
Pre-lesson:
Pupils study the picture and give their opinion
Lesson development:-
1. Teacher explains the words microorganisms and the definition
2. Teacher divides the pupils into several groups
3. Pupils watch video on paramesium and volvac (HOTS)
4. Pupils discuss the difference between these microorganisms
5. Pupils create mind maps entitled microorganisms using their creativitity
6. Pupils display the mind maps at the science corner (21st CL)
7. Pupils present their work (CBA)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By end of the lesson, most of the pupils will be able to:
Describe the life processes of microorganisms by carrying out investigations
LEARNING OUTLINE
Pre-lesson:
Pupils recall previous lesson on the microorganisms
Lesson development:-

1. Teacher explains the life process of microorganisms such as breathing, moving and growing
2. Teacher divides the pupils into three groups
3. In group, pupils carry out the following activities (HOTS) (CBA)
 Group 1: Activity 1, Microorganisms are breathing
 Group 2: Activity 2, Microorganisms are moving
 Group 3, Activity 3, Microorganisms are growing
4. Pupils share their observations (21st CL)
5. Pupils make conclusions on the life process of microorganisms in the exercise book

Carry out experiment to determine the factors that affect the growth of microorganisms
LEARNING OUTLINE
Pre-lesson:
Pupils recall previous lesson on life process of microorganisms
Lesson development:-

1. Teacher explains about the factors that affect the growth of microorganisms
2. Teacher divides the pupils into several groups
3. In group, pupils carry out experiments on suitable temperature (HOTS) (CBA)
4. After the experiment, pupils share their observation (21st CL)
5. Pupils make conclusion on the experiment in the exercise book

1. Teacher explains the uses and the harmful effects of microorganisms
2. Teacher divides the pupils into several groups
3. In group, pupils discuss the answers of the following questions: (HOTS) (CBA) (21st CL)
- How microorganisms can benefit us?
- How microorganisms can harm us?
- What are the examples of infectious diseases caused by microorganisms?
4. After the activity, pupils share the answers and explain the effect of microorganisms in daily life
