I am writing to express my genuine interest in the Master of Science Applied Computer Science (MSACS)

program at the Fairleigh Dickinson University, Canada. My name is Samjhana Chaudhary, and I am
currently working as a software developer at Nimble Infosys in Kathmandu, Nepal. With a robust
background in Computer technology and a fervent passion for data-driven insights, I am eager to contribute
to and thrive within your esteemed academic community.

I received my undergraduate degree in Bachelors of science in Computer Science and Information

Technology from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu, Nepal, where I learned about software development
to computer architecture, data management and many programming languages with mathematics. Each
subject captivated my interest and fueled my curiosity. This is a 4-year undergraduate degree and I
successfully completed without experiencing any academic setbacks or backlogs in 2017 with 77.71%.
During the submission of the final- year project, “Diabetes Prediction System”, I led a team for peers in
organizing and developing a system where system can identify diabetic patients using supervised machine
learning algorithm called Naive Bayes Classifier. This project not only helped me to showcase my technical
skill but also groomed my leadership and teamwork skills.

Upon completing my undergraduate degree, I entered the workforce as a software developer. While
engaging in this role, I found myself increasingly drawn to the data and data engineering aspects as a
programmer. My professional journey started at Exolutus Private Limited which has been highly enriching
and allowing me to work with a diverse range of technologies such as jQuery, Asp.net Framework, C#,
Kendo JS, SQL Server, T-SQL, Jira, Git. Collaborating with other developers and international clients has
significantly enhanced my understanding of the software development lifecycle and deployment processes.
These experiences have not only solidified my technical skills but also honed my ability to work effectively
in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Transitioning to Nimble Infosys Private Limited, I took on the role of Senior Software Developer, where I
gained hands-on experience with various advanced technologies. I am involved in their new project from
scratch as per user requirement like Customer Relation Management. I ended up working with the emerging
technologies in the market, such as React JS, Asp.net core, Aws, Handonstable Framework for UX. This
project really enhanced my skill as software developer with professional growth.

Looking ahead, I am particularly drawn to the MSACS at Fairleigh Dickinson University because I really
want to explore data science, Artificial intelligence and software engineering concept which are fulfilled
by this program. I want to increase my knowledge on data engineering and analytics including big data
analytics, Advanced database systems, as well as other clouding computing skill such as Azure, Google
Cloud. After graduating, I really want to contribute in data extensive field where I can able to use all the
skill and knowledge gained from this program for data management, research, data-driven decision-making
purpose. Additionally, the diverse and inclusive academic environment at the Fairleigh Dickinson
University will provide me with a broader perspective, fostering both personal and professional growth.

In conclusion, I am confident that my background as a software developer, coupled with my genuine passion
for data engineering, makes me a well-suited candidate for your Master's program. I am excited about the
prospect of joining the Fairleigh Dickinson University and contributing to its vibrant academic community.
I am confident that the Master of Science Applied Computing Science program will equip me with the
knowledge and skills necessary to achieve my career goals and make meaningful contributions to the field
of data engineering. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss
my application further.
