1 GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 NORMS REFERENCES
The OCRA Index Method evaluates the risk to contract muscle-tendon pathologies with the innovative use of the joystick and push
buttons.
is member of the European Ergonomics Commission of UNI as leader of the project EN 1005-3/4/5, in
cooperation with the World Health Organization WHO.
We kindly advice to read carefully and fully understand the contents of this manual before using the Dynamic Control Station.
The operator is responsible for the using and preserving of the control station DYCS.
In order to operate, taking advantage from the correct use of the DYCS the operator, before each use, should adjust the work position
following the information of this documentation .
Utilize and adjust the DYCS only as written in the chapter USE.
Each operations of maintenance or repair on the DYCS must be effected by qualified personnel.
IMPORTANT!
The DYCS is provided with mechanical and electrical swithes. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to use the DCYS with these
devices removed or tampered.
1.3 IDENTIFICATION
The control station DYCS is identified with a plate placed on the backrest of the seat.
On this plate are indicated:
• Serial number
• Construction year
• Job number
• Reference norms
• Manufacturer information

Electrical adjustments
All the electrical adjustments of control station DYCS are controlled by linear actuators with voltage 24VDC
3 USE
3.1 CONTROLS
The adjustments of the control station DYCS are effected through 2 kind
of devices:
Electrical selectors
They are positioned on the upper part of the RH control (Fig.7) and are
used to control all the DYCS movements electrically operated.
Levers Fig.7
Fig.8 Fig.9
The DYCS height adjustment is obtained using the lever (A) shown in the pictures;
(A)
The side boxes tilting adjustment is obtained using the lever (B) shown on the pictures;
(B)
The side columns height adjustment is obtained using the lever (C) shown on the pictures;
(C)
The boxes FORWARD / BACKWARD adjustment is obtained using the lever (D) shown on the pictures;
(D)
Another possible setting, is the Box angle adjusting. For this set proceed as below indicated:
2) with the hand turn the box in the favorite position (Fig.11)
3) turn the lever, release it from the upper lock position (Fig.12)
4) finally, turn the box so that the lever pin goes into its hole.
3.7.3 BACKREST
To adjust the seat tilting use the lever shown on the (Fig. 15);

3.7.4 LUMBAR CUSHION HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Fig.16
A correct working position considerably decreases the muscular stress. Fully take advantage of the DYCS fetures we
suggest to set the working position as shown below.
Fig.17a Fig.17b
The operator must adjust the height and tilting of lateral boxes so that he can comfortably rest his forearms and supports his body.
The bust position must be as much vertical as possible.
To keep a working position as per indications above, improves the distribution of the body load in the lumbar zone.

4 PROBLEMS SOLVING
Sometimes it’s not easy to find out the reason of fault. You should proceed step by step checking the single functioning of the DYCS
components. These operations must be done by a responsible of maintenance. He has to well know the technical features and the
functions of the DYCS.
Symbols used:
P = Problem
C= Cause
S= Solution
S= a) check if the control station is correctly fed, if not, feed it as shown on page 9
The lateral columns are provided with a micro switch to limit their stroke.
In the case of maintenance operation requiring the removing or its replacement, please proceed as indicated:
1) place the micro switch as shown on the pictures 20 -21
2) connect the limit switch as indicated on the electric diagram
3) adjust the switch position so that its contact is closed when columns are in lower position, and opened, when the columns have
done a stroke of 150mm

The customer must buy and use only original spares parts.
The spare part list is made of some drawings and relevant table list.
The drawings show the spares for each group in which the control station is composed.
