1. What was your view of God and who He was for you?

I always find God as a Father and Brother figure. When I feel lonely or in need

of help, I would always pray to just talk to him. Moreover, When I was young, I

would just see Jesus as my friend.

2. What was your view of yourself?

I thought of myself as an emotinal people pleaser. I would always find myself a

bit lonely and sad because I did not feel any sense of friendship from any good

people. This often leads to betrayal and exploitation of my capabilities, making
me think and act more of a people pleaser.

And how did others (friends and relatives) view you?

Perhaps people often see me as a serious person. According to others, my

appearance and attitude intimidates them. Correlated with what is said

previously, people would then resort to taking advantage of me, which made me
feel very inferior rather than equal with them.

3. What was your religious background? (Roman Catholic, Buddhist, Atheist,

etc.)

4. What was your attitude towards gender, romantic and sexual relationships,
money, possessions, position/achievement?
(Ano ang paningin o saloobin mo noon patungkol sa kasarian,
pakikipagrelasyon at pakikipagtalik, pera, mga ari-arian, pagkamit ng
tagumpay o katuparan ng mga pangarap?)

I always find these things as mere possession s and attitudes that the world

can offer. Whether good nor bad, such titles and benefits attract the eyes

and desires of humans. As a kid, I did show interest and curiousity, but
knowing the background of each of these things, I would not like to give in nor
_______________________________________________________________________
reflect on such.

5. What was your attitude toward sin or sinning?

I saw sin as anything that manifests pure evil, whether in comes from a person

or from an object. Sometimes, I would resort to committing sin for the sake of
good outcome. I was a consequentialist sinner, meaning that I would omit and

commit sin for my own benefit.

6. How did you feel about your future here on earth?

had felt scared of the future. I would worry about what would be the outcome of

whatever I do. I would also think that every action, whether good or bad, would

7. What was your life like in general?

My life was oretty normal. It all just seems life a normal human life full of ups
and downs. But aside from that, I did not have any good motivation or guide to

having a good and humble character in my life.

8. How did you feel about dying and where you would spend eternity?

I used to be scared of talking or thinking about death, because of its inevitability.
I had seen it as a punishment or bad judgement for all, no matter of your status

or what you do in life. I also did not like the thought on going to hell.

9. What was your view of how to be saved from the eternal punishment in hell?

Before, I had the mindset of just doing good things to save myself from eternal

punishment in hell. I would always think that doing good will take me one step

closer to Heaven.

1. Who first shared the Good News of Salvation with you and when?
(Sino ang unang nagbahagi sa iyo ng Magandang Balita ng kaligtasan, at kelan
‘yon?)

I listened to a Joel Osteen sermon about Salvation two years ago online.

2. In what circumstances were you when you first heard, truly understood, and
rightly responded to the Good News of Salvation?
(Nasa anong kalagayan ka ba noon nang una mong narinig, talagang
naintindihan, at tumugon nang tama sa Magandang Balita ng kaligtasan?)

When I first fully took interest in the Good News of Salvation, it was during the

pandemic. My life became harder and my personal development was disrupted. I
also had a hard time with school and getting support from friends. I had also

experienced a lot of toxic positivity and toxic behavior from my classmates and
_______________________________________________________________
friends, which was weighing me down in all of my aspects.

3. What part of the Good News of salvation really struck you, that led to a deep
conviction of sin and the exercise of faith in Christ as your personal Savior?
(Anong bahagi ng Magandang Balita ng kaligtasan ang nagbigay ng kaliwanagan
at nag-udyok sa iyo na paniwalaan ito, magsisi sa iyong mga kasalanan, at
tanggapin si Hesus bilang sarili mo’ng Tagapaligtas at Panginoon?)

The introduction of the Good News of Salvation was something that truly struck me. I

got to know that Christians have a personal relationship with God. Knowing our
purpose in that relationship to give back to God's purpose for us is in our lives

enlightens me to strive to build a right and intimate relationship with Him.

4. After hearing the Good News of salvation, what was your understanding of why
Jesus Christ had to suffer, die, and resurrect for you?

Jesus suffered and carried our burdens for us because God

did not want to see His people in any form of pain.

Jesus died for us to put an end to all of the sins we committed and are

Jesus' resurrection serves as a symbol of new life

in God's hands. This also symbolizes that we are free of slavery to sin.

5. How did you respond after you heard and understood the Good News of
salvation?

After hearing and understanding the Good News of Salvation, I fully accepted Jesus

as my personal Lord and Savior over my life. Moreover, I had repented of my sins and

believed in His word.

6. Did you receive the assurance of forgiveness and salvation after you prayed to
repent and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord?

7. When did you decide to FULLY trust Jesus Christ as your personal Savior from
the penalty and power of sin and to FULLY surrender your life to Him as your
personal Lord?

bilang iyong Tagapagligtas mula sa kaparusahan at kapangyarihan ng kasalanan
at isuko nang BUO ang buhay mo sa Kanya bilang iyong Panginoon?)

I had decided to fully trust and follow Jesus as my personal Savior few months into

face to face discipleship.

PART 3. YOUR NEW LIFE IN CHRIST

1. What changes do you (and others) observe in your life that prove your genuine
repentance?
(Anong mga pagbabago and napansin mo (at ng ibang tao) sa buhay mo na
nagpapatunay ng iyong tunay na pagsisisi sa kasalanan?)

The first and foremost changes I had observed after repentance was my attitude

towards sin. In everything I do, I always align my conscience and the messages

from discipleship, and reflect deeply on my actions whenever I feel doubt. I also feel
less of worry and more peace of mind in my everyday life after repentance.

2. What is your new view of God and who He is to you now?

I now see God as the center of my life. I fully surrender and declare that He is Lord
over my life. Through my everyday trials, I see how God works his divine

interventions even in the littlest ways. I feel assured that I am safe and free with

3. What is your belief and attitude towards the Bible as God’s Word for us humans?

The Bible servee as God's commands to us humans into living in His image and likeness.

Likewise, the sacred Scripture also serves as an invitation to non believers to follow

and disciple in Jesus's ways.

4. What is your attitude toward sin or sinning now?

I now see sin as a barrier that can separate my personal relationship with God. By

mere temptations and distractions from my divine goal, any form of sin can

disrupt my connection with God.

5. How do you feel about your future in this life?

I now feel safe, secured, and sure of my future in life. I assure that I am able to have
a good life and live life in the right and righteous way in God's love. Through Him, I am

6. What is your view of your life on earth now in general?

Life on earth is a true blessing from God. He has sent each and every one of us into

this world to live up to what He has destined for us to do, which is to accept His son

As said previously, death is inevitable. With that said, I am no longer afraid of death

because it is not a form of punishment for those who accept, repent and believe. In

death, there is new life for us who are born again in Heaven.

My new life in Jesus Christ has greatly affected my morals. I find myself more

spiritually mature than before. I also feel more wise in terms of academics,
relationships with others, as well as how I personally handle my own trials. Whenever I

feel down, whether alone or in public, I always feel safe because there is a God who i is

there to council me and assure that I am and will be free of sin.
