Hostel Admission Notice (2024-25) for 3rd, 5th & 7th semester students

All GEC-Bharuch students of 3rd (except D2D), 5th and 7th semester who are seeking hostel
admission for the academic year 2024–2025 are notified to submit the hostel form with the documents
mentioned below on or before 16/07/2023:

All the students of B.E. Sem. V will submit their forms to Prof. D.A.Gandhi (Room number 3010),
Applied Mechanics Department)

All the students of B.E. Sem. III and VII will submit their forms to Prof. M.K.Lanjevar (Room number
4210, Chemical Engineering Department)

Girl students from semesters III, V and VII will submit their forms to Prof. Manjeet Mukhi (Room
Number 4213, Chemical Engineering Department)

Take a note of following points before filing the form:

● The hostel admission will be given on merit basis (by considering CPI)
● As per prevailing rules, students staying in Vadodara city and Surat city and the places within
80 km from Bharuch are not eligible for hostel admission. Such students need not to apply for
hostel admission.
● Submit hard copy of form along with following documents, otherwise students are not eligible
for hostel admission.
● Students have to submit following documents:
○ Photocopy of marksheet (3rd semester students will submit 1st semester’s marksheet,
5th semester students will submit 3rd semester’s marksheet and 7th semester students
will submit 5th semester’s marksheet)
○ Residential address proof (light bill/gas bill/tax bill/landline phone bill-any one)
○ Caste certificate (if applicable), For SEBC category Non-Creamy Layer certificate
○ AADHAR card
