PET EXAM PREPARATION PROJECT
Objectives
1. Course Materials:
o Textbooks: "Cambridge English Preliminary 8" and other official
Cambridge resources covering all exam sections.
o Online Resources: Cambridge English Practice Tests, interactive
platforms like Quizlet, and mobile apps like Cambridge's "Exam Lift" for
individual practice and self-assessment.
o Authentic Texts: Articles from newspapers like The Guardian, blogs,
news websites, short stories, and other relevant texts reflecting real-life
situations to promote extensive reading.
2. Additional Resources:
o Audio and Video: Podcasts like "BBC Learning English," "6 Minute
English," educational videos on YouTube, movies, and series in English
with subtitles to enhance listening skills and cultural knowledge.
o Writing Software: Grammarly and WhiteSmoke for correcting essays
and practicing writing.
o Language Exchange Platforms: Tandem, HelloTalk for practicing
speaking with native speakers and receiving real-time correction and
feedback.
Teaching Methodology
1. Communicative Approach:
