 OBJECTIVES
1. Develop intermediate language skills in reading comprehension,
writing, speaking, and listening.

2. Familiarize students with the PET exam format, including

different sections and question types.

3. Improve accuracy and fluency in using English .

4. Increase confidence and reduce anxiety in exam situations.

 CONTENT AND RESOURCES
COURSE MATERIALS
Specific PET textbooks (e.g.,
"Cambridge English Preliminary 8").
Online resources such as Cambridge
English Practice Tests, educational
videos, and interactive apps.

authentic English texts.

 TEACHING METHODOLOGY

 Planning and Organization
TIME DISTRIBUTION
5 hours per week distributed over two
sessions of 2.5 hours.
4 weeks are dedicated to the four main
skills: reading, writing, listening, and
speaking.
SCHEDULE
Month 1: Introduction to the exam, initial
assessment, reading comprehension.
Month 2: Intensive writing practice.
Month 3: Focus on listening skills.
Month 4: Development of speaking skills
and general review.

WEEKLY DISTRIBUTION
Week 1-4: Reading comprehension and use of English.
Week 5-8: Writing.
Week 9-12: Listening.
Week 13-16: Speaking, integration of skills, and exam practice.
