My name is Afrael Zaldy Anggara, a final-year Business Administration student at

Universitas Indonesia. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently sought

opportunities to expand my knowledge and gain practical experience in the fields of finance
and operations. I am a highly motivated and adaptable individual with a strong passion for
learning and a proven ability to work effectively in diverse environments.

My interest in finance and operations stems from a deep curiosity about how businesses
function and how they can be optimized for efficiency and profitability. I am fascinated by the
complexities of financial markets, the intricacies of supply chain management, and the strategic
decision-making processes that drive organizational success. To further my understanding of
these areas, I have actively sought out internships and certifications that have exposed me to
real-world challenges and allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

During my internship at Mitsubishi Corporation, I gained valuable experience in

accounting, tax, and digitalization. I was involved in supporting Mitsubishi Corporation Group
Companies (MCGC) in various financial and operational matters, including preparing for tax
audits, conducting training sessions, and researching new regulations. I also had the
opportunity to contribute to the development of MC's Knowledge Management System (KMS)
and help them transition towards a paperless environment.

Prior to my internship at Mitsubishi Corporation, I interned at Mekari, where I honed

my skills in account payable management. I was responsible for verifying, approving, and
analyzing reimbursement requests, as well as preparing weekly reports and reconciling
processed work. I also gained experience in recording expenses and communicating with
internal stakeholders to resolve reimbursement issues.

My internship at Danone Waters provided me with valuable insights into the billing
process and customer management. I was tasked with transferring dispenser rental customers
to Danone's vendor, which involved consolidating data, cross-checking customer conditions,
and preparing transfer contracts. I also collaborated with other divisions to address customer
issues and ensure a smooth rental transfer process.

In addition to my internships, I have actively participated in various extracurricular

activities that have further developed my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. As
the Manager of Sponsorship for Niaga Finance Day (NFD), I successfully secured two major
sponsors, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and GOKS Entertainment, by maintaining good
relationships and ensuring the smooth processing of administrative documents.

Receiving the 'Scholarship for Asian Universities' Program would significantly impact
my life by providing me with the financial resources and support necessary to achieve my
academic and career goals. This scholarship would enable me to focus on my studies without
the burden of financial constraints, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my coursework,
research, and extracurricular activities.

Moreover, this scholarship would open doors to a wealth of opportunities that would
otherwise be inaccessible to me. I would be able to attend conferences, workshops, and training
programs that would enhance my knowledge and skills in finance and operations. I would also
have the chance to network with industry professionals and build relationships that could lead
to future career opportunities.
Ultimately, this scholarship would empower me to become a future leader in the finance
and operations industry. It would equip me with the knowledge, skills, and network necessary
to make a meaningful contribution to the field and drive positive change in the business world.
I am confident that with the support of this scholarship, I will be able to achieve my full
potential and make a lasting impact on society.
