New Electronic The present generation of electronic units for our

Units for Secop BD35F/K and BD50F range is for the main part
based on ASIC technology. Due to end of life of ASIC
BD35F, BD35K based components, Secop has developed two new
and BD50F DC electronic units based on microcontroller technology.
Compressors
The key improvements of the new electronic units are:
• Significantly improved electronic efficiency,
increasing the overall COP by approx. 5%
• Much more flexible by allowing different
microcontroller settings via a communication
interface using Secop PC software Tool4Cool®
• Reduced electromagnetic interference (EMI)
and leakage current (medium improvments

• High Starting Torque (HST)

Both electronic units support our BD35F, BD50F

and BD35K compressors. They will have the same
form, fit and function and are 100% backwards
compatible. The only optical difference is the re-
moved heat sink.

Production location Aiming to be where most of our customers are pro-

ducing, Secop decided to move the electronic units
production from Hungary to our existing manufac-
turer in China.

Timing The new electronic units 101N0212 and 101N0650 Fig.2 New 101N0212 electronic unit
can be ordered now for delivery from January 2015
onwards, while the old 101N0210 – 101N0260 elec-
tronic units will be set to end of life in March 2015.
