Konjic is the largest municipality with an area of about 1,300 square kilometers, where some places are 60
kilometers away from Konjic. The advantage of the municipality is its position, that it is connected by road and
railway routes to larger centers, that it is located on two lakes and one river, and that it is surrounded by
mountains. Until 1992, the carrier of economic development was the metal, special purpose and wood industries,
and Tourism, regardless of the fact that all the natural resources existed in the area of Konjic, as it does today, was a
secondary activity that was not given significant attention, nor was it considered that tourism could be the
backbone of the development of the municipality of Konjic.
The bridge was a masterpiece of 17th century architecture. During the retreat on March 3, 1945, the Stone
Bridge was bombed by the Pioneer Unit of the 3rd Battalion of the 370th Grenadier Regiment of the
Wehrmacht, and only the stone pillars remained. Since it was the only crossing over the Neretva, in 1946 a new
concrete bridge was built below the bridge, which is still in use today on the M-17 highway. Over the remains of
the Stone Bridge, in 1962, the existing wooden structure was replaced by a reinforced concrete one.
In July 2003, the Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina declared
this asset a national monument of importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The historic town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman
frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Mostar has long been known for its old
Turkish houses and Old Bridge, Stari Most, after which it is named. In the 1990s conflict, however, most of the historic town and the
Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices
in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by
UNESCO. The Old Bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European architectural
features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. The reconstructed Old Bridge and Old City of Mostar is a
symbol of reconciliation, international co-operation and of the coexistence of diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities.

Blagaj is a small and picturesque village in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, about 12 kilometers
south of the city of Mostar. It is located at the place where the Buna River rises from a deep abyss, and
is surrounded by steep cliffs and mountains that offer a stunning view of the surroundings.

In the Middle Ages, Blagaj was known as an important cultural and spiritual center, where many scholars and
spiritual leaders gathered. Blagaj's main attraction is undoubtedly the tekke, a house where scholars used to
gather. This tekija was built in the 16th century and is considered one of the most impressive buildings in Bosnia
and Herzegovina. Its position on the edge of the rock above the Buna river offers an incredible view of the
surroundings, and the interior of the tekke is decorated with beautiful architectural details. The tekija in Blagaj
belonged to various dervish orders, and due to its specific geographical location, the tekija in Blagaj looks as if it is
floating between rocks and water.

The Emerald River Neretva (Narenta, Latin name), the cradle of civilization and the population of Herzegovina, in its 225
km length, flows through the territories of Bosnia and Herzegovina (203 km) and Croatia (approx. 22 km). It is the most
important river in Herzegovina and one of the coldest in the world: its source is located in the Dinaric Alps, a mountain
range that represents the skeleton of the country, at about 1300 m above sea level, in the locality of Jabuka, about 30
km from Sarajevo. The unique shades of colors of this river, extremely clean and sparkling, make it a special and
particularly attractive symbol of these regions, in addition to being characterized by an extremely rich endemic
biosystem.

The historic urban site of Počitelj is located on the left bank of the river Neretva, on the main Mostar to Metković road, to the south
of Mostar, in the territory of Čapljina Municipality.
In the middle ages, Počitelj was the administrative centre and centre of governance of Dubrava župa (county), and its westernmost
point, which gave it major strategic importance. It is supposed that the fortified town and its attendant settlements were built by
Bosnia's King Stjepan Tvrtko I in 1383.
The walled town of Počitelj evolved over the period from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries.

What Neretva is to Mostar and Konjic, Buna is to Blagaj, Bregava is to Stolac. People have inhabited the valley of this river
since prehistoric times. The pleasant climate and crystal clear river still attract many visitors today. Stolac also has a rich
cultural heritage, which was registered as a "city museum" under the protection of UNESCO in 1980. During the long history,
in the territory of Stolac, but also in the whole of Herzegovina, many different cultures and civilizations intertwined and left
their traces.

Tekija in Stolac is a dervish temple in that town. It is also the seat of the Center for Research and Improvement of Spiritual
and Cultural Heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina (CID). Construction of the facility began in 2010 and was completed in 2015.
Tekija was built on the river Ada, around which the Bregave flows. Within its space, the tekija contains everything that the city
of Stolac contains; the river Bregava, the bridges on the Bregava, the flower and rose gardens. Stolac tekija was built by
