A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION

AND MANAGEMENT (BDRRM) PLAN

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10121, otherwise known as the "Philippine Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Act of 2010," mandates the establishment and institutionalization
of disaster risk reduction and management systems at the local level;

WHEREAS, Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2014-01 mandates the creation and
operationalization of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee
(BDRRMC);

WHEREAS, the BDRRMC of Barangay Pamucutan has formulated the Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) to enhance the resilience and preparedness of the
community against natural and human-induced disasters;

WHEREAS, the BDRRM Plan outlines comprehensive strategies and actions to mitigate,
prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters, ensuring the safety and well-being of the
residents of Barangay [Barangay Name];

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, the Sangguniang Barangay in a session duly
assembled, hereby RESOLVES to adopt the following:

Section 1.
Adoption of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan
The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) of Barangay
Pamucutan is hereby adopted and approved for implementation.

Section 2.
Implementation The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee
(BDRRMC) is hereby directed to implement the BDRRM Plan in coordination with relevant
stakeholders, agencies, and the Municipal/City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Council (M/CDRRMC).

Section 3.
Monitoring and Evaluation The BDRRMC shall regularly monitor and evaluate the
implementation of the BDRRM Plan and submit progress reports to the Sangguniang Barangay
and the M/CDRRMC.

Section 4.
Funding The necessary funds for the implementation of the BDRRM Plan shall be sourced from
the barangay’s annual budget, grants, donations, and other funding sources.

Section 5.
Effectivity This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
