HANDOVER NOTE
HANDOVER NOTE
SIS PAMELA NKEMKA TO BRO UCHE OSONDU ON THIS DAY SUNDAY 11TH FEBRUARY 2024
I welcome you all to this important moment of our organization. It is good to always witness
transition from one administration to the other as this adds more meaning to what we do and
breaths life to the organization.
To the glory of God Almighty, I was appointed to this office on Sunday 23 rd January 2022 at
Sacred Heart Parish Owere Nkalu by Rev Fr Kingsley Mbata to serve a single term of four years,
but as God has wished and permitted, here we are at another handover of baton after two (2)
years of administration.
Accepting and beginning this journey was a very tough one to me but I return all glory to God
who saw me through to the very end and also wish to thank my fellow Executives who helped
in the successful running of activities all through these years. I also wish to recognize the
maximum support of our Parish priest during my administration.
It’s quite a thing to note that during my administration, I tried so well to carry out my
responsibilities which includes but not limited to;
On a happier note, we recorded two transitions / wedding; Sis Ifeoma Osuji and Sis Pamela
Nkemka and the both where accorded their full right to the glory of God.
Launching of Constitution
Weekly or monthly fellowship
Building a cyber café
Recruiting more members and
Having full control of our account
As I step down from this position today in total happiness and thanksgiving to God, I handover
to the new President and the entire members of this Organization, a desktop Computer given
to us by Barr. Steve Ahaneku, the soft and hard copy of our Constitution, Some polo’s and over
#300,000 in our account.
To you Uche Osondu, I heartily congratulate you on this new position. To whom much is given,
much is expected. You’re expected to know the way, go the way and show the way. Bear in
mind that no one who wants to do it all himself or get all the credit will make a good leader. Try
as much as you can to work with your executives, they may not all be active but work with the
available ones and most importantly, work along with your Priest and always put God first.
Until you wear the shoe, you may not understand how hard it is to be a leader, but I pray that
God will see you through and by his grace, you will make a good leader.
To the other executives and the entire members of this Organization, I urge us to always to give
our maximum support, not to the president but to this body, to CYON, You should look out for
the success of this organization in every way you can. With God on our side, we will go higher
