 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR YEAP APPLICANTS
A. To qualify for the educational assistance under the YEAP, an applicant must be:

1. Filipino citizen
2. a pupil of elementary school or student of high school or college course
3. a member of the YWCA local association
4. of good moral character
5. with average school grade not less than 85% or equivalent
6. healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally
7. member of a family with combined monthly income not exceeding P30,000.00.

B. An out-of-school youth (female Filipino citizen) willing to pursue vocational course with TESDA may
also apply for educational grant through the YEAP using the TESDA application form and a copy of the
Report Card from school last attended.

C. The YEAP Committee of a Local Association shall give priority to applicants considered needy or
indigent as evidenced by a certified true copy of any one of the following documents:

1. Latest income tax return (ITR) of parents or guardian

2. Certificate of Tax Exemption from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
3. Certificate of Indigency from the Barangay of residence
4. Case study paper from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)
5. Affidavit of No Income.

D. Documents to be Submitted to the YEAP National Committee

1. Fully filled out YEAP Application Form with two 2”x 2” recent photo
2. Certified true copy of PSA Birth Certificate
3. Certification of good moral character from the last school attended
4. Certificate of registration/enrollment (if already currently enrolled)
5. Certification of class/academic level standing (Examples: Best in Math; Most Behaved)
6. True copy of grades/report card (from previous grading period/semester)
7. Letter of recommendation from School Head Teacher /Principal or YWCA Local Association
President
