RESOLUTION NO. 01, Series of 2024

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE LOCAL YOUTH

DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CY 2024-2026 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
BINMALEY, PANGASINAN

WHEREAS, Section 23 of the Republic Act 10742, otherwise

known as the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Reform Act of 2015 provides
that, to ensure wide and multi-sectoral youth participation in local
governance, a Local Youth Development Council has been established to
assist in the planning and execution of projects and programs of the
Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and Pederasyon at all levels;

WHEREAS, The SK Reform Act of 2015 mandates the creation of a

three-year Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) that includes
development programs, initiatives, and activities for the benefit of youth
organizations and youth-serving organizations represented by the
Sangguniang Kabataan;

WHEREAS, The LYDP shall serve as the foundation for

Sangguniang Kabataan’s drafting of the Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Development Plan (CBYDP), Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program
(ABYIP), and other local youth development plans in their respective
barangays;

WHEREAS, after thorough study of the council, it was found out

that the same is in order;

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of Hon. Jeremiah V. Ferrer,

LYDC Vice-Chairperson, duly seconded by the body assembled, be it;

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Local Youth

Development Council (LYDC) of Binmaley, Pangasinan, in session
assembled to approve the Three-Year Local Youth Development Plan
(LYDP) for CY 2024-2026 of the Muncipality of Binmaley, Pangasinan.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded

to the Office of the Municipal Mayor Pedro A. Merrera III for their
information and guidance, and to the Sangguniang Bayan of Binmaley
for their review and adoption.

ADOPTED: This 29th day of June 2024 at the Municipality of

Binmaley, Pangasinan, Philippines.
