Cancellation policy
In the unlikely event your wedding is cancelled deposits are held with the exception of a 6 month or
more notice. At which time a 50% deposit refund will be made.
Pandemic Covid-19. In the event the wedding is cancelled/rescheduled because of Covid-19 Joann
will apply the deposit to the rescheduled date.
Upon learning the need to reschedule: Couples agree to contact Joann with two or more possible dates
for rescheduling.
Couple will have first choice for rescheduled dates. If new dates are not available, Joann will
refund deposit in full if notification is made thirty days or more from original date and 50%
deposit will be held if notification is made less than s days from original date.
In the unlikely event that I cannot officiate because of illness or other emergency, I will
arrange a Celebrant replacement, in consultation with you, through the Celebrant USA
Foundation.

Drinks:
Generally speaking, it is best not to serve drinks until after the ceremony. Drinks, in my
opinion, should be put aside during the ceremony. (It looks undignified, and it’s hard to clap
with a drink in your hand.
The ceremony may be as formal or informal as you like it to be. The Ceremony party may
range in number from three; the Couple and Celebrant, to any number of additional attendants.
If you are choosing an outdoor wedding venue make sure you have an in in-door alternative in
case of bad weather. We advise that the ceremony be conducted “down wind” for better
acoustics.
