About BGVS & Sponsorship for a Child
Introduction:
Birati Globe Vision Society (BGVS) is a Non-Profit Organization mainly working on Education,
Livelihood and Employment in five districts of West Bengal, India. BGVS believes in a self-
sustainable model to run every project. Its main objective is to uplift the socio-economic condition
of the people in rural areas of West Bengal.
Our Vision:
To provide quality education to the underprivileged section of the society through use of
technology and innovative learning models.
Our Mission:
To provide primary and secondary school education to 5000 underprivileged children in
West Bengal in next five years.
To lay special focus on sports and other skill development activities.
To improve economic conditions of parents through capacity building programs.
To guide school pass outs of BGVS get higher education or employment.
Coming from underprivileged backgrounds, they have been able to reach their full potential under
the expert guidance of our dedicated teachers. Their ability to compete and excel on a global stage
is a testament to their hard work and our commitment to providing quality education. This
remarkable achievement is a significant milestone for us, and we are thrilled to witness their
continued success.
Our Appeal:
Birati Globe Vision Society has taken up the responsibility of providing quality education to 502
underprivileged children. They study in three schools. One is at the Durganagar slum area of Birati,
Kolkata. One is in the Sundarbans where Morning Section is for Bengali medium education and
Day Section is allotted for English medium education and A third School is in Gangatikuri village
near the town of Katwa. Among them are 105 students from MSVR Mission Academy in
Gangatikuri, a sustainable school under BGVS. As mentioned earlier, when combined with the
students from our other two schools, Knowledge Prabhat and MSVR Mission Academy in Dwarir
Jangal, the total number of students reaches 397.
At the heart of it all are our dedicated teachers, the pillars of our institution. They are not
just educators; they are mentors, guides, and role models, constantly striving to deliver the
best education possible. Despite financial challenges, they remain unwavering in their
commitment to providing quality education.
Ensuring a child's education is not just about books and classrooms; it's about providing
them with the tools and support they need to thrive. For just Rupees 13,500 in a year, you
can provide a student with school bags, uniforms, books, and a nutritious breakfast. Your
contribution will not only help them succeed in school but also set them on a path to a
brighter future.
Appeal for Support:
We have successfully secured educational sponsorships for 60 children, each valued at Rs.
13,500. However, out of our total of 397 students, 337 are still in need of sponsorship.
As we believe in empowering of Guardians for Self-Sufficiency, through our diverse
training programs, we've enabled 104 guardians of MSVR Mission Academy in Dwarir
Jangal to contribute 300 rupees per month towards their children's education and towards
the school's development, showcasing their commitment to their children's future and the
school's growth.
While this support has enabled us to meet the basic needs of these 60 children, such as
providing quality teachers and daily breakfast, it has also presented challenges. The
financial strain of sponsoring these 60 students has made it difficult to manage expenses
for the remaining 337 students. This has resulted in a teaching gap as teachers are leaving
mid-session. We are seeking further support to ensure that all our students receive the
education and care they deserve.
If we secure sponsorship for all the children, the 104 guardians currently contributing
towards their children's education won't need to provide funds. Our aim is to make both
school same as MSVR Mission Academy, Gangatikri sustainable models that can be
replicated elsewhere.
Moreover, we intend to provide training in various handicrafts to interested individuals,
using their contributions to create employment opportunities. This will help every family
become self-sufficient and envision a better future.
Financial Breakage
Estimated amount to run the schools 13500*397= 5,359,500 Rupees

Join Us in Saving Our Village Youth: We humbly request your support in sponsoring a child for
Rs. 13,500 annually. Your contribution will cover school books, stationery, uniforms, bags, and

education and community resilience. By nurturing young minds and fostering economic stability,
we have witnessed profound changes in the lives of our students and their families. As we press
