Company XYZ, a medium-sized technology firm, has recently recognized the need to invest in
employee training and development to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving industry. The
company's management has decided to implement a comprehensive training program aimed at
enhancing the skills and knowledge of its workforce.
XYZ Company has experienced rapid growth over the past few years, leading to an influx of
new employees with varying levels of expertise. Additionally, advancements in technology and
changes in market demands have highlighted the necessity for continuous learning and
development among the existing workforce. As a result, the company is committed to designing
and implementing effective training initiatives to ensure its employees remain skilled and
adaptable. However, top management are not interested in training initiatives.
Required:
a) As the officer in charge of training and development at company XYZ, prepare a write up
that you will present to the top level management to convince them to facilitate training
and development of XYZ Company employees. Ensure your points are concise and well-
structured.

demonstrate how would you ensure the long-term sustainability of the training and
development program, as the HR manager of Company XYZ. Provide at least three
